Timmy,the magic poodin

I think our Timmy is a magic poodin. At times he appears to be enormous, and at other times he looks small and dainty, especially when he does the turtle.

Timmy tips the scale at 18 lbs. and when he stretches out on the floor, he looks like this enormous womp womp with a tiny little head. But when he is all curled up in his window perch, he looks like a little kitten.

When my mother-in-law (known to Timmy as the old lady next door) comes over for a visit, she never fails to tell us that he gets bigger everytime she sees him, and when you pick him up, you know he's a big boy, but when you feel his body, there isn't that much chub. Jenn says that he is all muscle, and as I have learned from Weight Watchers, muscle weighs more than fat.

So is our Timmy overweight? - we don't think so, he just looks that way sometimes, because he's a magic poodin!

Speaking of magic poodins and Weight Watchers, here's a recipe that helped me lose 140 lbs. It truly is magic because you would never guess what goes into it.

MAGIC PUDDING

1 pkg. Fat free/sugar free Instant Chocolate Pudding
2 cups 1% milk
1 8 oz. container Coolwhip lite
30 regular Saltines

Cover bottom of a square casserole with 15 Saltines. Break off pieces if necessary to cover bottom of dish completely, without overlapping.
Prepare the chocolate pudding, following the directions on the package, and spread 1/2 of it evenly over the Saltines.
Spread 1/2 of the Coolwhip over the chocolate pudding.
Top the Coolwhip with 15 more Saltines.
Spread the remaining chocolate pudding evenly over the crackers.
Top with the rest of the Coolwhip, spreading gently.

Cover with Saran wrap, and refrigerate, allowing to set at least 4 hours, or overnight. The magic part is the way the Saltines change to taste like phyllo dough or pie crust.

Serve in squares and enjoy!
