Has anyone seen my mind?I have heard of senior moments and have in fact, had many, but this is ridiculous. Last night, as I entered the darkened hallway, I spoke to Timmy, who was laying in the dining room doorway. "How are you my little sweety?" I asked. "Are you taking a little nap?" I inquired. "Why don't you answer your Grammy?" I babbled on. When he didn't respond with a meow or some kind of movement, I went closer, only to discovered that I was talking to Jenn's pocketbook! What can I say? I'm turning 70!
On a saner note, I have received several emails requesting recipes. I have many to share, so let me know what you are interested in. Before I forget it, here is one of my favorite party dips.
MOLDED SEAFOOD DIP
1 can undiluted tomato soup
8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup celery, chopped fine
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb. finely chopped sealegs
1 to 2 packets Knox unflavored gelatin that has been softened in 1/4 cup warm water
Heat the cream cheese in the tomato soup, stirring until disolved and smooth.
Add the softened Knox gelatin, mayo and chopped ingredients.
Mix well and pour into a Jello mold.
Refrigerate. (This turns out best when thoroughly chilled and allowed to set overnight.)
When ready to serve, remove from fridge and unmold on a serving dish.
Surround with nice crackers.

Oh Grammie....I do that too. I'll catch what I think is a cat out of the corner of my eye & start talking to it and it'll be a shoe or something. Or I'll go out for a walk without my glasses & and walk past rocks or stumps and say "hi kitty". I'm only 45! sss's mom
I haven't seen your mind runnin round loose, Grammie, but I'm still looking for Mommy's, so I'll look for yours too. She walks right past me sometimes lookin for me! She says that's lots like lookin for her glasses when they're on her nose. That seafood stuff sounds yummy, wish I could try it.
As long as the purse didn't answer you, I think everything is still Ok!
