Treat Addict!I've come to the conclusion that our cat, Timmy is addicted to kitty treats. He forages around the house endlessly, looking for some tasty morsel. He really hits his stride in the wee hours of the morning, when we are rudely awakened by the sounds of pounding, paper rattling, objects crashing, jumping, running, and scratching. Each morning we are greeted by the sight of tipped over wastepaper baskets, books that have been knocked off of their shelves, scattered mail, magazines and knick knacks and just about anything within his reach, and some things that we foolishly thought were out of his reach. If there is a treat to be had, anywhere, he will find it.
On Friday Timmy received his Secret Paw gifts which included a bag of Friskie treats. Jenn cleverly hid them in a little shopping bag containing paid receipts when he wasn't looking. While having lunch in the kitchen, unbeknowst to us, Timmy was having a scavenger hunt in the living room. When we went to investigate what all the ruckus was about, there was Timmy with the shopping bag around his neck and paw. He was rolling around wildly, trying to get untangled. Jenn laughed so hard at his antics, that she hurt her stomach. As soon as she freed Timmy, he went right back to the bag for his hidden treasure.
I think he needs help. I wonder if Overeaters Anonymous take cats!

Once Jinky got his neck caught in an electrical cord to a heavy vocal effects device that mom has. He drug the heavy thing all the way down the hall way. The quicker he ran, the quicker it chased him! It was quite funny for us, but quite frightening for him.
I got my neck in the handles of a plastic bag once. It was in the basement & I came all the way upstairs to find dad so he could help me out of that confounded thing. He laughed too & hurt my feelings. -Scooby
