Welcoming the Spring
Pear & Peach Crisp
2 1lb. cans peach &/or pear halves, drained (I use 1 each)
1/2 Cup rolled oats
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 Cup softened (not melted) butter
Arrange peaches &/or pears in lightly greased baking dish
In a seperate bowl, combine oats, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter to make crumbs
Spread this topping over the fruit and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes
Easy as that!

Hi Grammie! We are glad to see Spring again! That means our mom opens the windows and we get to smell the nice fresh air!! Mom says all of your recipes sound really good and she's gonna try some of them soon. Happy Spring, Grammie!!
Oh Oh. Mom read your recipe and now she's droolin like a d-o-g. I think that means she thinks it sounds yummy. We're glad to see spring too. Our Grandma opens the windows for us to sit and keep an eye on the yard and the birds and stuff. That's real fun. Hope you have a good springtime, Grammie!
