Deep Dish Corn and BrocolliThis delicious and easy side dish is my daughters favorite. I don't know where I got this recipe, but I do know that I've been making it for years. It can easily be halved or increased, depending on how many people you will be serving. Enjoy!
Deep Dish Corn and Brocolli
1 stick of butter or margerine
2 12 oz. cans of Green Giant corn
2 10 oz. packages of chopped brocolli, thawed & drained
2 tsp. basil leaves, finely chopped or dried
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook over medium heat 8 - 10 minutes.
Serves 8 - 12
