Fruited Cabbage SaladThis salad recipe is a real family favorite. The ingredients may sound a little unusual, but trust me, this salad is really good. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it is sensational!
I'm going to share a bunch of neat salad recipes with you in the days to come, because we're getting into the time of year when fruit and veggie salads hit the spot. I hope that you like them!
Fruited Cabbage Salad
4 cups of finely shredded cabbage
1 firm banana, sliced
1 red delicious apple, chopped
1/3 cup chopped pecans, optional
2 Tbsp. raisins or cranberry craisins
1/2 cup mayo
2 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste.
Combine first 5 ingredients in salad bowl.
Mix mayo, milk, sugar and lemon juice thoroughly.
Pour over salad and toss.
Cover and refrigerate.
Serves 4-6

uhhh, dad says he'll take your word for it about the salad. he is scared of the 'grediants.
It am all way good KC! For real! Momma says it's surprisingly tasty. If only it had some sardines though...
oh yeah! sardines and shrimp and crab (for uncle larry) and anchovies (for dad)
